 All of our yoga classes are no more than six people. We do this intentionally so that we may keep the personal experience you have come to love about the WheelHouse Pilates Studio. Using the classical elements as inspiration, in Fluid Yoga classes we become grounded and refine our balance with the earth, explore flowing movement and grace in the manner of water, ignite fire within our bodies through core strengthening and detoxification, and empower the air flowing within us through breath control and mind training. All classes end with savasna, to embrace our space element and rejuvenate the spirit. The ultimate goal is for students to leave class feeling peaceful, powerful, and aware.

Sessions may include manual therapy to restore mobility, movement and postural re-education to improve alignment, and trigger point dry needling to release trigger points and tension. Initial Therapeutic Acupressure Consultation

Your very first Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) session is a 90-minute initial consultation service. It begins with a personalized pulse listening assessment, followed by a 60-minute JSJ treatment designed to restore balance and support your body’s natural healing process. You will receive a comprehensive treatment plan that may include dietary guidance, herbal remedy suggestions, and lifestyle support. You’ll be taught self-help techniques and strategies you can practice at home anytime, empowering you to extend the benefits of your treatment and support your own well-being between sessions.

Alternative Therapy

Vertigo and Balance Services

One of the most common causes of Vertigo is Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). This type of vertigo is typically intense and comes on suddenly, triggered by specific head movements such as going from sitting to lying, or rolling over in bed. BPPV occurs when tiny crystals in the inner ear become dislodged and move into areas where they disrupt normal balance signals. A trained physical therapist can perform a gentle, targeted technique known as the Epley maneuver, which helps reposition the crystals and relieve symptoms.

Balance issues can also result from reduced strength or impaired joint proprioception—your body’s ability to sense its position in space. Physical therapy focuses on retraining the brain and body to better interpret these signals, improving stability and reducing the risk of falls.

Following a comprehensive physical therapy assessment and a discussion of the patient’s goals, a personalized strength and mobility program is developed and progressively advanced over multiple sessions. Each program is thoughtfully designed to support steady, sustainable improvement.

Special emphasis is placed on proper technique and correct muscle activation to ensure safety and effectiveness. Exercises can be tailored to the equipment available in the patient’s home—such as weights, resistance bands, or bodyweight.

Programs are further customized based on individual goals, whether the focus is on improving daily function, returning to a specific activity, or enhancing athletic performance.
